Sahaflar Bazaar
The Sahaflar Bazaar dates back to the 15th century and is one of the places to visit in Beyazıt. The bazaar is located between the rocky area to the left of the Beyazıt Mosque and the Sedefçiler gate that leads to the Grand Bazaar. Built in the past for madrasa students, the bazaar was located in the Grand Bazaar in 1460, but after the great earthquake in Istanbul in 1894, it was moved to the place where it is today. The Sahaflar Bazaar dates back to 1460 and will take you on a great journey, accompanied by the familiar smell of books. You can also see the bust of İbrahim Müteferrika, the man who runs the Turkish printing house.
