Büyük Hamam

Büyük Hamam was built by Güzelce Kasım Paşa who was Ottoman vizier received a duty from Suleiman the Magnificent with that he equipped Kasımpaşa with beautiful buildings and left his name to place.

It’s located on Potinciler Street in Kasımpaşa quarter. The construction date is unknown however it’s known that the mosque which was built by order of Güzelce Kasım Paşa was built around 1530.  They are both works of great Ottoman architect Sinan.
