[learn_more caption=”What happens if I do not provide health insurance?”] As long as you plan to stay less than 90 days in Turkey, it is not going to be a problem to stay here without health insurance. But if you want to stay here for more than 90 days, you will have to provide your health insurance.Otherwise your residence permit is going to be cancelled in case government determines that you did not provide it after signing “Tebliğ ve Tebellüğ Belgesi”. This may cost you at least 1000 tl plus administrative fines plus overstay daily fine as the law says unless you give them a acceptable reason.[/learn_more]

Then you are going to be able to stay at your country or wherever you want to go for 15 days but not more than 15. After this, all you have to do is show this paper at the customs when you are back. Let’s say that you didn’t go to police station for your residence permit yet and you booked your ticket and made your plan already. In this case you can ask for “İkamet İzni Müracaat Belgesi” on your appointment day. But this document can be taken only after you deliver your papers and all the payments made to police. You can not get it before your appointment.
