Süleymaniye Hamamı

Süleymaniye Hamamı is one of most popular Turkish Bath of the city. It was built part of Süleymaniye complex which consists of Süleymaniye Mosque, madrasah, hospital, lunatic asylum, infirmary tombs, market and primary school.  Süleymaniye Hamamı incorporate the art and genius of architect Sinan same like other parts of complex.

Süleymaniye Hamamı is still works as a bath but the way of bath management differs than others. First of all you certainly need to make reservation in advance. The other thing you have to know is that Süleymaniye Hamamı is only unisex public bath of the city. Single males or females cannot enter. Probably the most absurd rule is for local visitors. If you’re local and if you don’t have foreigner friend who stays at hotel, it’s not possible to enter.
